Inter-Link Cornwall was a project that supported voluntary and community groups across Cornwall to build their capacity, capability, confidence and awareness so that they could contribute to improving the quality of life of Cornwall’s inhabitants. The Inter-Link Cornwall project came to an end on the 31st March 2012.
As of the 1st April Cornwall Council have provided funding for CRCC and PCDT to deliver community development across the County. As a result CRCC and PCDT can now support small community groups to develop their capacity, capability and financial robustness via access to appropriate targeted opportunities. Both organisations are able to offer information, advice and support where appropriate to small groups with their governance and funding needs. It may be that a group wants support in pulling together a constitution or is looking for some funding for a project that it wants to carry out but is not too sure on how to go about it... your Community Development Officer may be able to help! They will also be able to signpost groups and encourage them to take part in networking opportunities and events.
If you are a small group requiring some advice or guidance, please get in touch with your area’s Community Development Officer
